TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BUCHAREST

(D)

Upon arrival in Bucharest International Airport, you will be met by your local guide at the airport and transfer to the city center of Bucharest. 

Check in hotel to freshen up a little. After lunch, Make a Sightseeing tour of Bucharest; we will visit from outside the most beautiful building from Bucharest: Palace of People (Parliament), Atheneum Square, Revolution Square, King Carol Statue Government Buildings.

Have some free time before dinner.

DAY 2: BUCHAREST – PELES – BRAN – BRASOV

In the morning, you will meet your tour guide at hotel lobby after breakfast and travel towards the Bran Castle. Here hosts one of the most visited castles in Europe and the source which inspired the most fascinating legend of the blood- shedding - Dracula. The Castle was built by the inhabitants of Brasov in the interval 1377-1382 to protect the mountain pass from the invading Turks. 

Depart to Sibiu, visit the Peles Castle and King Carol‘s Gardens. Later, arrive in Brasov Old Town for overnight. Brasov boasts everything from dynamic modern city life to old world charm and fascinating scenery. The city is notable for its best cleanliness in the country, great transport and culinary. It is also the largest city in a mountain resorts area. The old city is very well preserved and is best seen by taking the cable-car to the top of Tampa Mountain.

DAY 3: BRASOV – VELIKO TARNOVO

This morning after check-out, you will start your journey to Veliko Tarnovo, a city of Bulgaria. Veliko Tarnovo is one of the oldest towns in the country, as its history dates back to more than five thousand years ago, which is proven by archaeological excavations. The upsurge of Veliko Tarnovo is related to the period of the Second Bulgarian Empire. 

In Veliko Tarnovo we will have Sightseeing tour, Ivan Assen Monument, Tsarevets Fortess, Rose Oil Souvenir Shops, Nicopolis and Istrum.

DAY 4: VELIKO TARNOVO – SOFIA

Today you travel towards Sofia. Visit Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria where you will see the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, St Sophia Church, Governmental buildings and Sofia University. From the outside we can visit the St. Sophia Monument, the archaeological Museum, Presidental Building and National Art Gallery. Spend some time at the open flea market to experience the local shopping experience. Check in hotel and have dinner.

DAY 5: SOFIA –SKOPJE – OHRID

This morning, you will meet your guide at the hotel lobby and prepare to Skopje. It is located in a valley, on both sides of River Vardar and traces back to over 2000 years of history when it was known as Skupi. Visit some of the marvels which include the stone bridge.

Arrive in Skopje in the afternoon and start your site seeing of the capital of Macedonia. Visit the Mother Teresa Memorial, Museum of Skopje and Mustafa Pasha Mosque. Exterior visit to the Macedonia Square, Stone Bridge and spend some remaining time at the Bazaar. Depart to Ohrid for overnight.

DAY 6: OHRID – SVETI NAUM – TIRANA

After check-out, go on a sight-seeing tour of Ohrid. 

Ohrid is Macedonia’s prime destination, with its atmospheric old quarter with beautiful churches along a graceful hill, topped by a medieval castle overlooking serene, 34km long Lake Ohrid. Visit places such as the Church of Sveti Jovan, the Icon Gallery, St Kliment Church, the fortress as well as the impressive Classical Amphitheatre. You will also visit a Macedonian pearl making factory. After lunch, transfer to Tirana for overnight.

DAY 7: TIRANA – SHKODER – BUDVA

Today, we will spend our day in Tirana and Shkoder. Start the day with city tour with a visit to Ethem Bey, Mosque, National Historic Museum, the Clock Tower, Skanderbeg Monument, and National Opera.

Transfer to Budva for leisure time and overnight.

DAY 8: BUDVA – KOTOR – DUBROVNIK

Breakfast at hotel before departing to Kotor. Upon arrival, we will go on a sightseeing of the Old Town and visit the Saint Nicholas Church, Saint Tryphon Cathedral, Pllar of Shame and Kotor Bay

Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure, you may explorer the city on your own. In the late afternoon we departure to Dubrovnik for overnight.

DAY 9: DUBROVNIK

Begin sight-seeing tour after breakfast by visiting the Old Pharmacy and Rector’s Palace. We will spend time at the Dubrovnik Stradun and have lunch. Here, the limestone-paved pedestrian street runs some 300 metres through the Old Town, the historic part of the city surrounded by the Walls of Dubrovnik. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a cable car to a vantage point of Dubrovnik.

DAY 10: DUBROVNIK – MOSTAR – SARAJEVO

Morning after breakfast, depart to the city of Mostar. Mostar has been most famous for its beautiful historic Ottoman-style bridge. The bridge itself is something of a symbol of reconciliation and ethnic harmony in the Balkans. The enchanting old town known for its cobblestone streets, colourful shops and multi-ethnic restaurants clambering for space along the banks of the turquoise Neretva River.

We will visit the Turkish House, the Kosky Mehmet Pasha Mosque and a short visit of the Ottoman Bazaar. After lunch, transfer to Sarajevo for our final night.

DAY 11: SARAJEVO (Departure)

After breakfast and check-out of the hotel. On the last day, we can make an optional visit to the Sarajevo Tunnel of Hope Museum. The Sarajevo Tunnel was constructed during the Siege of Sarajevo in the midst of the Bosnian War in 1992. It was built by the Bosnian Army in order to link the city of Sarajevo, which was entirely cut off by Serbian forces. 

After lunch, go on a city tour of Sarajevo to visit the Gazi Mehmet Pasha Mosque, the old Bazaar (Bascarsija) and the Latin Bridge over the River Milijaka

Spend the remaining time at leisure before transfer to airport to check your international flight home.
