Welcome to South Africa, a great adventure awaits. This is a tour of lifestyle experiences of safari and unique dining. Cape Town is a city bursting at the seams with colour, creativity and humour. Enjoy a trip to the spectacular wine land (Franschhoek), be fasincated by the beautiful coastal drive and a gourmet wine and cuisine dinner in the nature reserve. We will included an unforgettable Safari experience in a private reserve in Lion Sands Safari.

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CAPE TOWN

Upon arrival in Cape Town, be welcomed by your local guide and transfer to the city for the City Tour followed by lunch.

In the afternoon, visit Table Mountain, one of the 7 Wonders of Nature.  Looking at it from below is one thing, but it is quite another to be atop the mountain, from where one is afforded such wonderful views of Cape Town, Robben Island, the Peninsula and beyond. You will take a cable car to the top of the mountain.  The journey takes a little more than 5 minutes and the high tech rotating cable car offers the best views of the city. After visit, transfer and check-in hotel.

DAY 2: CAPE POINT, CHAPMAN’S PEAK & KRISTENBOSCH

After breakfast, transfer to Cape Point via Chapman’s Peak drive one of the most beautiful scenic drives along the cape coastline. First, we visit Cape Point Nature Reserve.

After lunch, return to Cape Town and visit Kristenbosch Botanical Garden. The garden is one of nine National Botanical Gardens covering five of  South Africa 's six different biomes. When Kirstenbosch, the most famous of the gardens, was founded in 1913 to preserve the country's unique  flora , it was the first  botanical garden  in the world with this ethos. You may also visit Hermanus and Betty's Bay on enroute.

DAY 3: FRANSCHHOEK & STELLENBOSCH (Wine lands)

Head out to the wine land in Franschhoek for a full day excursion. This is a valley rich in history centered on picturesque village of friendly, welcoming people. This is the food and wine heartland of the country, where splendid wines are grown and our top chefs create international cuisine.  

Visit the Chocolate Factory for a demonstration and chocolate tasting. Go on the Stellenbosch old city tour before lunch at the wine estate. In the afternoon, transfer back to hotel for some leisure time.

DAY 4: SAFARI, LION SANDS GAME RESERVE

This morning, transfer to Cape Town airport to catch your flight to Skukuza Airport. From the airport it’s a 25 mins drive through the Game Reserve to the Lion Sands Private Game Reserve. On arrival, enjoy a welcome drink. Lion Sands Private Game Reserve is situated in the Southern portion of the 65,000-hectare Sabi Sand Game Reserve. You will enjoy game drives in open-vehicle game drives with an experienced ranger and a local Shangaan tracker who work together to give you a deeper understanding of the wildlife and the natural cycles of the bush.

Tracking Africa's big game, the evening safari departs after afternoon tea. After enjoying the bush sunset, the evening holds a sense of anticipation as the rare and elusive nocturnal species begin to hunt.  The evening meal is often enjoyed in a 'boma' or even in the bush around an open fire, which many guests feel is a particularly evocative treat.

DAY 5: SAFARI, LION SANDS GAME RESERVE

Early wake-up call, enjoy a hot cup of Tea/Coffee and depart for a game drive. Return back for breakfast. Spend some time at leisure or pick a few activities offer by Lion Sands. In the afternoon, go for another game drive. In Lion Sands, you get to experience close encounters with the Big 5 as well as many species of antelope, cape hunting dog and variety of smaller mammals.

DAY 6: ZIMBABWE, ZAMBEZI RIVER

This morning after bidding goodbye at Lion Sands Game Reserve, fly to Zimbabwe. Upon arrival, embark on a river-cruise boat for excursion on the Zambezi River, above Victoria Falls. You will get to enjoy dinner on-board while admiring at the beautiful sunset.

DAY 7: ZIMBABWE, VICTORIA FALLS

Have breakfast and go on a tour of the Falls on the Zim side. Discover how the Victoria Falls were formed and what local customs and traditions surround their mystical past. Known as the “smoke that thunders” by the local Kololo tribe, encounter the true magnificence of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Day 8: JOHANNESBURG

After a final morning game drive and breakfast, transfer to for your flight to Johannesburg. Meet your driver-guide and start your city tour. Johannesburg is South Africa's biggest city and capital of its inland Gauteng province, began as a 19th-century gold-mining settlement. During the city tour, you will drive past the Carlton Centre, the downtown and end with a guided tour of Constitution Hill.

DAY 9: JOHANNESBURG (DEPARTURE)

Spend the morning at leisure until it is time to be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
